"Grey Area"  2008
The Project “Grey Area” examines the theme of "Banality of Violence," that is to say the everyday abuse of power, in all its various forms, and the personal, political and socio-cultural consequences thereof. This first phase of the project comprises a 14-day interdisciplinary exhibition in which through the media of video, installation and photography, nine international artists present their current insights into this theme.

Grey Area casts a sceptical eye over some of the various forms of violence and their everyday manifestations, not in order to reach concrete conclusions of binary opposites but instead to formulate more subtle and pertinent questions.

The exhibition took place in spring 2008 in the Galerie der Kuenste in Berlin Germany. More

"Hydromemories"  2007 (co-curated with Irina Novarese & Zoltan Kunckel)
Twelve international artists have been examining the theme of water.

Their diverse perspectives were presented to the public for the first time in the exhibition Hydromemories between the 5th and the 7th of October 2007.

Hydromemories presents: Audio, Video, and Installation works, together with participatory actions which examine the socially, politically and culturally symbolic as well as spiritual aspects of water. The interdisciplinary project Hydromemories brings into discussion both the current private and industrial wastage of water and the future crisis in it's worldwide provision. The guarantee of individual public access to water is understood to be a universal right. During the exhibition in Berlin at the Stadtbad Steglitz, and in cooperation with Ingenieure ohne Grenzen e.V, a relief action will be initiated, in which art together with science will be brought into action in order to facilitate the building of two water cisterns in Tanzania
